My idea: Space and time
This film is set in the year 2379 in New York. Aliens come down to Earth and kidnap a large group of people. The aliens say that they have a week before they destroy the world. A group from the military get sent to the alien spaceship to stop the aliens in a race against time and they get given devices that they can use to stop time for 30 seconds every 5 minutes and only they can move when they use them. They use these devices to stop the aliens and the main character, Melanie, finds out that the only reason why the aliens are doing this is because another alien race had destroyed their planet. The group from the military then help the aliens find a new planet.

Main character: Melanie - played by Jennifer Lawrence because I feel like the character would be similar to katniss in the hunger games. She will be strong and independent.

This film would be appropriate for a family audience because it has a good message at the end as they end up helping the aliens and it will be an animation. There will be only a little bit of violence and when there is violence it won't be that realistic as it's an animation. There will also be no bad language. The characters will be very relatable with them all having different personalities.

This film will appeal to women as the main character is a strong, independent woman. Them female characters won't be over sexualised and won't be stereotypes.

Wall.E is a robot who is programmed to clean up Earth. He falls in love with another robot which means he has emotions.

1. Jean gets home from a long day at work and just wants to relax. She switches on the TV and sees that her favourite science fiction film is on - Back to the Future.

3. Jean and Gordon have two children, two teenage girls named Alice and Poppy. All their friends are going to the cinema to see the latest science fiction (fantasy) film - The Hunger Games. Everyone is talking about it and they just have to see it, so they can discuss it with their friends.

A good alien is E.T. because he didn't hurt anyone and he just wanted to go home.

A bad alien is the aliens in The War of the Worlds because they came to earth and attacked people.
